I had these on my 60th Anniversary Cherokee before some woman ran a light and totalled it. They shocked me with how aggressive they looked but how quiet they were on the road. They were very stabile, had little wear, and worked great in snow and on icy roads. Most of the time I didn't even lock in the 4 wheel drive except in extreme conditions. I never took my Jeep off road so I can't say how they would have done, but as for Connecticut's changeable weather, I was very impressed and will put them on my Honda Pilot when the current tires wear out.
Awesome tires best bang for your buck
Tires preformed well but they are noisy.
I live in northern Indiana and live in an area that gets its weather off of Lake Michigan throughout the year, including rain and snow. I drive county roads that are not plowed in the winter and drive right through the deep snow and in summer drive the same roads that are worn from the Amish buggy's and horse shoes in the rain and have no problem. I have put over 60,000 mile on these tires and would buy them again!
Have gotten 37,000 miles out of these tires. For the winding rough roads of WV, and my driving style this is excellent. They have worn evenly. Even now with the treads down to the wear bars they handle good with little problems on wet roads. Will definitely buy these again, and recommend them.
I replaced the original BFG RUGGED TRAIL tires because they were too noisy. Never had a chance to take them off road, so I don't know how they would've performed. I put these tires on and immediately most of the road noise was gone. So as far as road noise these tires are awesome. Went to Badlands in Attica Indiana And was pleasantly surprised on how well these tires performed off-road. I would highly recommend them. I haven't had them in snow yet so I can't comment on that. I also have gained an increase in fuel mileage
23,000 miles they are showing no wear, this past winter, they cleaned very well not packing up with snow.

Has been a great tire so far, does awesome off road in muddy terrain as well as snow. This tire is aggressive and would buy them again.
I bought these tires 5 months ago. This is the first time I've had them. They seem like great tires, we've had two large snowstorms, (one was 15 plus inches) and they've done great. Would buy again, also they had a great rebate when I got them!
Bought my truck with 21,000 miles and the dealer had installed these tires on it. Now have 35,000 miles on the tires and have no winter traction, snow and/or ice. Tires were decent new but now that they have worn down, I hate them!! Rotate tires every oil change, 50% tread depth remaining. Not recommend these tires on a HD Diesel pickup.
Been a fan of Mastercraft (Courser) tires for years and have exclusively run them for the last 12 years. Not a fan of the AXT model, especially compared to the AT 2s that they replaced (was a great tire). Wear was faster than anticipated (approx. 30K miles), wet traction and snow handling is that of a passenger tire and not an all terrain tire. Tires seem to work well on a Jeep Liberty but even on our Durango tire wear is faster than it should be. Good handling tire on dry pavement and good stability pulling a heavy load. Would only recommend for a light SUV if you are interested in this tire model.
These tires work really well in mud and snow. They are a little slick on wet roads - hydroplane and spinning on take off. Had some trouble with uneven tire wear.
Done a great job even in the Rocky mountains.
These tires are awesome. My GC handles very smooth on the highway and can take bumps very well. Very little noise. I recommend these tires without hesitation. Great value for your money.
First time purchase and very glad I did. Went from 4 ply Goodyear's to 6 ply Courser AXT's. Cornering very good, wet traction excellent. Highly recommended.
Low noise on road. Great in the snow. Tread wear is great.
Love these Mastercrafts. First set of many.
Always bought another brand tire. Bought these instead 2 years ago and except for a little more road noise, I find them to be exceptional tires in every way. Fairly priced too.
I haven't had the ability to test the tires in snow yet. But I'm confident they will work well. Happy with them so far. Great deal for the price!
Great tire, good tread pattern. Holds up well off road, on road, wet, dry, snow, empty bed or heavy hauling.
NICE TIRES. WOULD RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND.
Very pleased with tires. Would buy again
Very pleased with these tires. On a Jeep like mine you can really feel how the tires ride and respond to inputs. They excel, they even do well in the mud.
These are awesome tires in all weather conditions. I look forward to purchasing another pair of these when they are worn out. I currently have 5k miles on them and they hardly show any tread wear!
I feel safe in the truck knowing I can go where I want with the tire traction I will get. I'm over 60 and my sister and I go a lot in this truck looking for firewood.
Definitely would buy this brand of tires again, holding up very well!
Great tire, awesome service.
OEM tire was Goodyear Wrangler, which was replaced with Bridgestone Dueler. I have used Mastercraft on my trucks for years, so I opted to put them on the Jeep now, too. These tires run out smooth, are wearing good, have great snow and mud traction, and the most surprising things is I seem to be getting better fuel economy with them. Maybe just 1-1.5 miles per gallon(depending on what you are doing) but I think that is great. You can't go wrong with these tires, in my opinion.
Went into the store to buy Michelin and they were not in stock. Store advised I buy these and at a 300 savings. Being that it is the middle of winter, these work just as well will no loud humming noise like the heavier size tires. I will put these on our Trailblazer next.
I was really impressed with the way it handled on snow and ice. Best tire for performance and wear. Drive this vehicle everyday to work and had a set last for over 3 years driving round trip a day for 40 plus miles.
Quick service, less than 1hr to install 4 tires.
I was recommended Mastercraft tires about 10 years ago by a friend who owned a boat marina and used Mastercraft tires on the company trucks and his personal vehicles. At the time, I was shopping for tires for my Toyota Tundra and was leaning towards another top brand. Well needless to say, I did go and try the Mastercraft brand and have been hooked on them ever since. I have faithfully bought Mastercraft tires anytime I needed them for my 4 work trucks and my and my wife's personal vehicles. In the wintertime, I plow snow here in NEPA and find my tires to be very good in snow. I have no problems at all on steep hills or driveways, as they grab right into the snow+ice. I also enjoy offloading to some of my hunting spots and have no problem on some of the dirt/mud roads I need to drive on. Also, they're quiet and smooth on the highways that I'm on quite a bit! I think Mastercraft are the very best tires you can buy for the money! I've bought more expensive tires for my cars/trucks and they can't compare to Mastercraft! I have also turned a few friends on Mastercraft and they all agree and continue to use them!
